For the whole of humanity, the climate crisis is a very real, very dangerous existential threat. The climate crisis is a global event, which means no humans and earth bound lifeforms can escape its effects. Planet Earth does not need saved. However, we do.
Every day that goes by the problems worsen, the planet grows hotter, and the inevitability of cataclysmic disasters grows more real. The problem is not simply climatic; it’s economic, political, societal, and cultural. In other words, it’s a very large HUMAN problem and a very daunting one to say the least.

“Certainty Of Death? Small Chance Of Success? What Are We Waitin’ For?”
We can’t wait or at least, I won’t wait. I have spent my professional career solving informational related problems. In doing so, I have worked with cities, counties, states, school districts, universities, and federal agencies on many levels. Success happens when you are factual, compassionate, and determined to see change happen. It seldom happens when you want it to but it does happen when consensus is reached and the momentum is sufficient.
My personal transition will be to take the 40+ years of IT skills and experience and move them to solving sustainability issues. Although I am more than willingly to help with for profit and non profit organizations, I am more interested in getting governments to move towards regenerative, sustainable policies for their communities. MY focus is on:
Equity – helping poor and minority communities that are more harshly affected by the climate crisis
Economy – transforming from degenerative to regenerative
Innovation – bringing the best practices to all communities, regardless of size or wealth
Inclusion – help everyone, especially the young, to participate in positive change
The change required will not occur in my lifetime or likely some lifetimes to come. However, change we must for all living beings to thrive on planet Earth. I hope you will support these endeavors and join all of us on the greatest task for humanity.
